Goal setting experts believe that a goal that is to be achieved has to have five attributes. They can be summarized with the acronym S.M.A.R.T; that is, Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. When you decide to start training your maid, there will be the temptation to confront and address things as they happen. While impulse confrontation is great, the advisable approach to take is to confront and give attention to one aspect at time. Focusing your consistency on a specific message for a period of time is what would bring about the change you desire.
I always recommend at least one month of consistency. This however does not in any way mean that when you focus on an area, you do not correct them in another. It only means you are giving an aspect more attention, working to get results. That will help you make excuses for the other excesses as they come until you decide to focus solely on them.
The importance of setting a training goal is that it gives you an end point to work towards, it gives your desired outcome a time frame and it helps you measure your maid’s progress within the period. Achieving your training goal may serve as a major determinant to whether you will keep your maid or relieve her of her duties. A maid who doesn’t showing reasonable improvement within the set time is either not yet capable of learning or has refused to improve.
This monthly training goal template will help you plan ahead, organize your thoughts, schedule your plans and action out the things you have put down. It’s for four weeks but you can extend yours to whatever time you think your maid will need.
I prepared a sample so you can print yours and use it as a guide to filling yours. There are two links below. One link is my sample training guide on hygiene which should serve as a guide to how you can use the template. The second is an empty template you can print and use over and over again for your maid.

I hope this resource makes training easy for you, and you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
